MEIJI GAKUIN UNIVERSITY

Meiji Gakuin University (MGU), founded in 1863, is one of the oldest Christian institutions in Japan. Located in Tokyo Yokohama with approximately 12,000 students in six faculties, MGU offers the International Student Program (ISP)for foreign university students. ISP provides an opportunity to pursue undergraduate studies pertaining to Japanand the Japanese language, with creative academic environment for a semester or academic year. ISP students can also take elective courses taught in English offered by faculties.

KYOTO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Kyoto, Japan’s capital for 1,000 years, has retained its former atmosphere, charm, and traditions. It is here that Kyoto Institute of Technology has 4,000 students enrolled in biology, materials technology, electronics, information science, mechanical engineering,architecture, and design. Our program was selected as a Ministry of Education Top Global University Project funding recipient. Through this program, we foster interculturally aware leaders in technology and science who will globalize the region and foundations of industry.

AICHI SHUKUTOKU UNIVERSITY

Aichi Shukutoku University (ASU) is conveniently located in Nagoya.
The Japanese Studies Program offers language and culture based courses at a variety of levels. In addition, the nine faculties offer programs at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. ASU offers subjects that are taught entirely in English. The newly built international student dormitory, combined with our professional and dedicated staff, are sure to make studying at ASU a truly enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

ASIA UNIVERSITY

Located in Tokyo, Asia University places great emphasis on international education, particulary in regards to its role within Asia. We established the first intensive Japanese course in Japan more than 50 years ago, and currently there are more than 400 international students. CHUO UNIVERSITY

Doshisha University, founded in 1875, is a private university located in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. DAITO BUNKA UNIVERSITY

Daito Bunka University (DBU) was established in 1923 as an institute for Chinese classical studies and for the promotion of sinology in Japan. Today DBU strives to be a point of fusion between East and West. DBU continues to strive further on to open up a new era. One of its major current programs is to rebuild the Higashi-Matsuyama campus by 2015 to offer a new face with new facilities to its students.

FUKUSHIMA UNIVERSITY – ACADEMIA CONSORTIUM FUKUSHIMA

Fukushima University is a national university located in Fukushima, Japan. In addition to its world renown programs related to postdisaster recovery, it chairs the Academic Consortium Fukushima (ACF), consisting of all 18 university and postsecondary institutions in Fukushima. Following the March 11 disasters, member schools of the ACF have worked closely together to provide educational programs for producing "glocally" minded human resources that are essential for the region’s long-term revitalization.
