City University of Macau, formerly known as University of East Asia which was established in 1981, was renamed in February 2011. The Taipa campus is located in the heart of the South China Sea, the Pearl River and Macau. It is a comprehensive University located on the highest altitude in Macau. It is an ideal institution of advance learning and research engagement.
UM undertakes as its prime mission the advancement of scholarship and education in the realms of humanities, social sciences, business, law, natural sciences, engineering, health sciences, education, and other areas.
