The University of NOUAKCHOTT AL AASRIYA (UNA) was created in July 2016 from the merger of the University of Science, Technology and Medicine and the University of Nouakchott.

Mission

 The fundamental mission of the UNA is to contribute to the scientific, technological and cultural influence of Mauritania, by striving to:

Develop knowledge and knowledge,
Provide initial, basic and professional training and continuing education and award recognized diplomas and certifications,
Promote scientific research and offer services and expertise,
Prepare young graduates for integration into working life.
The implementation of training (initial and ongoing) and research missions are based on the priority development needs of society and in collaboration with economic actors. This alignment of our two core businesses (training and research), including all other services to society, is our added value.
