PALESTINE AHLIYA UNIVERSITY

Palestine Ahliya University College (PAUC) is a higher education institution. PAUC was established in 2006 as a culmination of a joint venture between selective academics and investors, who consider investing in higher education not only a fruitful service to Palestine but also a project for social development and maintenance of national capital within the country. PAUC directs its academic services towards Palestinians and other nationals with qualifications prescribed by the college. PAUC works hard to secure quality education for students through qualified academicians worldwide. It also works towards securing quality education requirements with a highly qualified administration.

Our mission stems from our commitment to establish a university which is a resource for civilized ideas and thoughts, advanced science and research. Moreover, it also aims to achieve the mission of strong higher education by reflecting the expectations and aspirations of the Palestinian people for a better life for their families. As a university college, PAUC insists on being an active member in the development of the Palestinian community, taking advantage of the rich resources of its people represented by the intellectuals, heritage, sanctities and values, and its economy, which is based on knowledge production, dissemination, marketing and distributing of knowledge.

ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF GAZA

The Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) is an independent academic institution supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education. It is a member of four associations: Association of Arab Universities, Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World , Community of Mediterranean Universities, and International Association of Universities. In addition, IUG works closely with numerous universities around the world.

IUG provides for its students an academic environment that adheres to Islamic principles as well as Palestinian traditions and customs. It also provides all available resources, including the most up-to-date technology in service of the education process.

PALESTINE POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY

Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU) is one of the leading polytechnic universities in Palestine. It was founded in 1978 by the University Graduates Union (UGU), which is a non-profit organization in Hebron district.The primary mission is to emphasize quality vocational and technical engineering education. This is achieved by providing students with practical knowledge to help them acquire an up-to-date experience directly related to their disciplines.

In addition to the two-year diploma degree, PPU has been offering a B.Sc. degree in a number of engineering programs since 1990.

PPU is officially recognized by the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and it is an active member in the Rector Conference of Palestinian Universities.

There are about 6000 students enrolled in the various areas of specialization at PPU during the academic year 2013/2014. PPU dedicates particular attention and commitment to enhance its relationship with the local community by identifying potential community priorities and needs. To this end, it promotes certain diverse services, strategies and programs to meet these priorities and needs.

HEBRON UNIVERSITY

The idea of establishing a university in the city of Hebron became firmly-established in the minds of a group of its enlightened citizens headed by the late his Eminence Sheikh Mihammad ‘Ali Al-Ja’bari. This was after the rest of Palestine came under the Israeli occupation in 1967. This idea came to be implemented by the establishment of Hebron University the nucleus of which began by establishing the Islamic Shari’a College to be the first educational institution for university education in Palestine in 1971. Forty-three male and female students joined the college from different parts of Palestine.

The University strives to promote excellence by providing quality, academic teaching, training, research and relevant community programs within the context of sustainable development, emphasizing social conscience and democratic values in a free civil Palestinian society. In addition to providing students with the opportunity to realize their educational ambitions, the University aims to empower students to be productive citizens and active members of their community. It is the policy of the university to promote free expression and interaction among students, teachers, and the surrounding community.

Hebron University (HU) continues to play a central role in developing our most valuable national resource, our young men and women. New graduate and undergraduate programs in information technology, science, social policies, pharmacy, law,finance and management are being developed to help meet this objective.
