UNIVERSIDAD ANTONIO NARIÑO
La Universidad Antonio Nariño (UAN), nace el 07 de marzo de 1976 en las antiguas instalaciones de la Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad Javeriana, ubicadas en la Calle 20 Sur No. 13 –61 de la ciudad de Bogotá.
La decisión de iniciar actividades en la zona Sur de Bogotá, responde en primer lugar, a la falta de un centro universitario en dicho sector y en segundo término, a que la política de cobertura educativa de entonces, no preveía la ampliación o creación de universidades estatales y programas de pregrado. Por ende, fueron muchos los jóvenes que no podían ser admitidos, y en su mayoría eran habitantes del sur de la capital.
Fue así como la UAN, tomó la decisión de liderar el impacto educativo y cultural en dicha área, y estructuró su oferta académica inicialmente con cuatro programas: Administración de Empresas, Contaduría Pública, Licenciaturas en Matemáticas y Física, y Licenciatura en Química y Biología.
Esto significó que para finales de 1977, con la asistencia de representantes del gobierno y el ICFES, la sede Sur de la Universidad Antonio Nariño, se inaugurara oficialmente, tras haber sido aprobados los programas con su correspondiente infraestructura física y académica. De tal modo, las clases iniciaron el 2 de febrero de 1978.
Misión:
Formar ciudadanos idóneos y competitivos, éticos y humanistas, con pensamiento autónomo y crítico, y personas altamente calificadas y comprometidas con los procesos de transformación positiva del país, fundamentados en la incorporación, difusión, generación e innovación del conocimiento universal.
Ejercer liderazgo educativo e investigativo, en ciencias, artes y tecnología, acorde con los procesos de globalización y adelantos científicos, que responda a los desafíos provenientes de los cambios locales, regionales, nacionales e internacionales.
Contribuir a la calidad y excelencia del talento humano mediante la formación académica e investigativa rigurosa que posibilite la creación y consolidación de grupos de investigadores que orienten el desarrollo científico, tecnológico, y artístico.
Contribuir a la democratización del conocimiento y promover la igualdad de oportunidades no sólo en el acceso sino en la posibilidad de concluir los ciclos de formación mediante la descentralización, la ampliación de la oferta educativa, la diversificación de programas, la generación de mecanismos de financiación y el establecimiento de sistemas de información.

UNIVERSIDAD DISTRITAL FRANCISCO JOSÉ DE CALDAS
La Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas se reconoce a sí misma como la institución de educación superior del Distrito Capital de Bogotá y de la Región Central de la República de Colombia, por consiguiente su visión de futuro está estrechamente ligada a los procesos de su entorno social. UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE PERNAMBUCO
The Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) is one of the best universities in the country, teaching (undergraduate and graduate) and research. At the international level, the institution is among the world’s top 1000 and the 14th best in the country, according to The Word University Ranckings 2018.
The UFPE also excels in national assessments that take into account, for undergraduate, student performance indices in the National Student Performance Examination (Enade), the structure of institutions and the investment in teachers and courses, now General Index of Courses (IGC), and the titling and scientific production of post-graduate teachers – by the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), these two evaluations of the MEC.
In recent years, as part of programs to expand the teaching of the Federal Government, the University expanded its operations and today has three campuses, located in Recife, in Vitória de Santo Antão and in Caruaru
Between 2005 and 2016, more than 2,500 places were created in undergraduate courses. During this period, more than 30 courses were implemented, among them Cinema, Archeology, Museology, Dance, Information Systems, Materials Engineering, Energy Engineering and Naval Engineering. The growth is mainly due to two programs of the Ministry of Education: the Interiorization of Higher Education and the Support to Restructuring and Expansion Plans of the Federal Universities (Reuni).

Infrastructure
The UFPE brings together more than 40 thousand people, including professors, technical-administrative staff and undergraduate and graduate students, distributed in three campuses: Recife, Caruaru and Vitória de Santo Antão.
In Campus Recife, there are more than 40 buildings, including the Rectory, nine Academic Centers, eight Supplementary Organs, Convention Center, Acoustic Shell, University Club, Nursery, Student Houses for Men and Women and the University Restaurant.
Off campus, in Recife, there are the Legal Sciences Center, the Television and University Radios Nucleus, the Benfica Cultural Center, the Medicine Memorial and the Nucleus of Continuing Education. In the Interior, there are the Agreste Academic Center in Caruaru, and the Academic Center of Vitória de Santo Antão, located in the Zona Norte Mata.

UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DA BAHÍA
The Federal University of Bahia – created by the Royal Charter of the Medical-Surgical College of Bahia, signed by Prince Regent D. João, on February 18, 1808; established by Decree-Law no. 9,155, April 8, 1946; restructured by Decree no. 62,241, of February 8, 1968 – is an autarchy with didactic-scientific, administrative, patrimonial and financial autonomy, in accordance with the law and this Statute.
The institutional objectives of the University are:
I – to educate for social and environmental responsibility, contributing to human development with ethics, sustainability and justice;
II – to generate and propagate knowledge, knowledge and practices in the sciences, arts, cultures and technologies;

UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL FLUMINENSE
The Fluminense Federal University was created in 1960 as the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UFERJ). It originated from the incorporation of the Federal Schools of Pharmacy, Dentistry and Law (1912), Medicine (1926) and Veterinary Medicine (1936); (1944), Social Service (1945), Engineering (1952), and other two, private, Economic Sciences (1942) and Philosophy (1947). After being federalized and incorporated, this union was renamed Universidade Federal Fluminense. UFF’s mission is to produce, disseminate and apply knowledge and culture in a critical and socially referenced way.
The rectory building is located at Rua Miguel de Frias 9, in the municipality of Niterói – RJ, and several UFF units are located in this city: 3 campuses (Valonguinho, Gragoatá and Praia Vermelha) and many isolated units located in several neighborhoods – Centro, São Domingos, Ingá, Santa Rosa, Vital Brasil – and incorporated into the routine of the residents.
The Institution has academic units in eight municipalities in the interior of the State of Rio de Janeiro – Angra dos Reis (Angra dos Reis Education Institute); Campos dos Goytacazes (Institute of Society Sciences and Regional Development); Macaé (Institute of Society Sciences); Nova Friburgo (Institute of Health of Nova Friburgo – ISNF); Petrópolis (School of Engineering of Petrópolis); Rio das Ostras (Institute of Science and Technology); Santo Antônio de Pádua (Institute of the Northwest Fluminense of Higher Education – INFES), and Volta Redonda, where the Institute of Human Sciences of Volta Redonda, the School of Industrial and Metallurgical Engineering (EEIMVR) and the Institute of Exact Sciences ( ICEx).
Today, UFF is made up of 41 Teaching Units, 24 Institutes, 10 Colleges, 6 Schools and 1 College of Application. There are 124 teaching departments, 129 in-service undergraduate courses and 6 distance-learning courses offered in 28 poles of the Open University of Brazil, in partnership with CEDERJ-RJ. At Stricto Sensu Post-Graduation there are 81 Postgraduate programs and 120 courses, of which 42 are PhDs, 62 are MSc and 16 are Professional Masters. The Post-Graduation Lato Sensu presents 131 specialization courses and 45 Residency Programs.
