NIHON UNIVERSITY

Since it was founded in 1889, Nihon University has developed students who form the core of Japanese society. The institution is Japan’s largest private comprehensive university with 22 graduate schools, 14 colleges, 87 departments, and a junior college. Founded in 1913, Sophia University led the move to internationalization in Japan with its educational philosophy: "Men and Women for Others, with Others." THE UNIVERSITY OF TOKYO

Founded in 1877, the University of Tokyo (UTokyo) is the oldest national university in Japan. It is a comprehensive research university that engages in education and research at the cutting edge of knowledge across the full range of human endeavor.
More than 40 degree programs in English are provided in most of the graduate schools. UTokyo plans to accelerate international collaboration with a variety of prominent universities and institutions.

OCHANOMIZU UNIVERSITY

As the first national women’s university of Japan, Ochanomizu University has produced countless women graduates who have gone on to play active roles in pioneering fields. In promotion of exchanges with overseas students and career development of the students, summer programs in English and Japanese are offered. OKAYAMA UNIVERSITY

Okayama University, one of Japan’s leading universities, is situated on an extensive campus and has 11 faculties and master’s and doctoral courses embracing humanities, social, natural, environmental and life sciences, and pedagogics. Approximately 13,400 students, including 500 international students, currently enjoy life at this university, and 2,600 staff are engaged in educational and research activities and university management.

OSAKA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Osaka International University (OIU) is a four-year private coeducational university located in Osaka, Japan, founded in 1988. OIU has three faculties for undergraduate programs: Global Business, International Liberal Arts, and Human Sciences. The Faculty of Global Business will introduce English-taught courses in fall 2016 for convenience of international students. OIU has more than 70 international partners and currently accepts exchange students for Japanese studies.

OKINAWA INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY GRADUATE INSTITUTE

The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) offers a flexible academic program for PhD candidates. With more than half of our students and faculty coming from abroad, OIST offers the highest level of graduate education in a truly international environment. Nearly 50 cutting-edge laboratories conducting wide-ranging research form the hub of the OIST Graduate University.
