UZBEK STATE WORLD LANGUAGES UNIVERSITY

Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (Uzbek: O’zbek Davlat Jahon Tillari Universiteti, Узбек Давлат Жахон Тиллари Университети Russian: Узбекский государственный университет мировых языков) is one of the leading universities in Tashkent city and in Uzbekistan. The Importance of language is essential[1] to every aspect and interaction in the modern world. Language is the most important tool in contributing the knowledge and information among people and countries. Therefore, the world needs highly trained professionals, who mastered different languages, which would lead to the development of any country. "Uzbekistan State University of World Languages" has set the goals of upbringing highly trained philologist, and cover the demands for the professionals on philology field. "Uzbekistan State University of World Languages" was first established by the Decree of President of Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov in the year of 1992 on 12 May, number 401 under the base of "Republican Russian language and literature pedagogics Institute" and "Tashkent state foreign languages pedagogics institute". In recent years, the "Uzbekistan State University of World Languages" has become the best language teaching university of Uzbekistan and there are more than 15 languages which are taught at the ""Uzbekistan State University of World Languages", which are: English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Iranian, Malaysian, Polish, Indian, Turkish, Greek and Indonesian. There are 8 faculties which give lessons in different subjects of philology

NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF UZBEKISTAN (TASHKENT)

NUU began its function in 1918 as People’s University. From 1920 university was named Turkistan State University, 1923 Central Asian State University, from 1960 to 2000 it was named as Tashkent State University. On 14 th of September in 1995 according to the decree of Council of Ministries of Uzbekistan university was named after Mirzo Ulugbek.

NUU was first founded not only in Uzbekistan but in whole territory. Scientists and teachers of university greatly contributed to the development of science, education and scientific researches and educational system. Considering above mentioned contributions on 28 of January in 2000 university was claimed as National University of Uzbekistan according to the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Nowadays there are 13 faculties, 45 spheres of bachelor degree, more than 100 spheres of master`s degree. National University of Uzbekistan is a basic university, which is always leader at creating State Educational Standards for universities, model of study plans and adopting them in other Universities.

1180 professors and teachers working now, among them 21 academicians, 200 doctor-professors, 550 candidates and Ph.D, more than 400 senior teachers and assistant teachers. Staffs scientific intellect is directed to the improvement of studies, methodology, scientific researches and cultural-moral affairs.

IVANE JAVAKHISHVILI TBILISI STATE UNIVERSITY

The Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) is a spiritual and intellectual successor of multi-century Georgian culture, humanistic traditions and old Georgian educational, scientific and cultural centers.

the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is one of the first scientific-research institutions of Georgia. It implements about 200 local and international scientific grant programs annually.

The Tbilisi State University is one of the largest higher educational institutions by its scales. Today about 22 thousand students are undergoing studies at seven faculties of TSU.

Along with bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs, the Tbilisi State University also implements higher vocational education, as well as short and long term certification programs. ILIA STATE UNIVERSITY

Ilia State University was founded in 2006, as a result of the unification of 6 different academic institutes with long and varied histories. Currently, Ilia State University is one of the leading research and educational institutions in Georgia. Ilia State represents a special connection between students and professors – a multifunctional educational and scientific institution where the joint work of professors, students, researchers and instructors creates a unified space for higher education and research.

YEREVAN STATE UNIVERSITY

On 31 January 1920, during the First Republic of Armenia, the People’s University of Armenia opened in Alexandropol, with the presence of prime minister Alexander Khatisian and minister of culture and public education Nikol Aghbalian. In October of the same year, a decision was passed by then-minister of education Gevorg Ghazarian to establish the faculty of medicine in the university. However, due to political circumstances, the plan was never fulfilled. Armenia became a republic in December 1920.

In 1920, the medical faculty of Yerevan was founded by the government of Armenia.

On 25 May 1989 Yerevan State Medical University was named after the 12th-century Armenian physician Mkhitar Heratsi.

The duration of the continuous and integrated educational program for bachelor’s degree is six years in general medicine and military medical faculties and five years in the dental faculty. The duration of the Bachelor’s Qualification Education Program is four years in the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Master degree is offered in the following specializations:

Medicine,
Public Health and Health Care
Pharmacy
Medical work in the armed forces
The duration of the Master’s degree program in "Medical Work," "Medical Work in the Armed Forces" is for two years; in "Public Health and Public Health" is 1,5 years, and is one year in Pharmacy.

For further specialization, the student has the following options for Post-Graduate studies: internship, clinical residency and continuous vocational training (EMS). The duration of the internship is 11 months and is carried out in "General Practice Physician," "Stomatologist" and "Pharmacy" according to relevant programs. Graduates of Yerevan State Medical University are provided with an opportunity to skip internship and specialize in clinical residency programs.

The Foundation is not only a major center of education and health but also has a great scientific potential, which can become a source for promotion for fund’s further development. Foundation’s faculty has 689 employees with a scientific degree, including 165 doctors of sciences, 524 candidates. As of December 2016, 28 post-graduate students and 96 applicants implement research activities in the fund

ARMENIAN NATIONAL AGRARIAN UNIVERSITY
