RITSUMEIKAN ASIA PACIFIC UNIVERSITY
Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) was founded in 2000 as Japan’s first truly international university by the "Ritsumeikan" educational academy with more than 100 years of history and tradition. APU is the only Japanese university to adopt a fully bilingual education system. English-speaking individuals may enter APU without any prior exposure to the Japanese language. Seinan Gakuin University is a humanities-focused university with a long history of international exchange and cooperation, actively exchanging students with 46 partner institutions in all over the world. The International Division offers a one- or two-semester program running from August to May the following year. The course content concentrates on Japan, including Japanese language, culture, history, tradition, business, and politics, with all courses except the Japanese language taught in English.

Founded in 1927, Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) has carried on and maintained a commitment to nurturing practical engineers. At SIT, a wide range of research is conducted in mechanical engineering, electronic/electric engineering, civil engineering, architecture, IT, materials, biosciences, and design engineering. SIT has three colleges with 17 departments, the Graduate School of Engineering (master’sand doctoral programs) and the Specialized Graduate School, with more than 8,000 students.
SOKENDAI THE GRADUATE INSTITUTE FOR ADVANCED STUDIES
SOKENDAI offers three- and five-year doctoral programs. Both programs provide an ideal educational environment for study and research. Students have access to large-scale experimental and observational equipment as well as special experimental equipment of the Japan’s global leading research institutions. As an international research center, SOKENDAI provides opportunities for daily interaction with numerous research groups. SHOWA WOMEN’S UNIVERSITY
Showa Women’s University (SWU) offers a wide range of programs and courses that will allow students to develop both intellectually and ethically. Students learn through a variety of experiences to become sophisticated women who will be actively involved in society. SWU has two graduate schools with 10 departments, and four undergraduate faculties with 12 departments. SWU also offers the "Intensive Japanese Language Program" for nondegree international students who wish to improve their Japanese language skills.
NIHON UNIVERSITY
Since it was founded in 1889, Nihon University has developed students who form the core of Japanese society. The institution is Japan’s largest private comprehensive university with 22 graduate schools, 14 colleges, 87 departments, and a junior college.
