TASHKENT MEDICAL ACADEMY
Tashkent Medical Academy was founded on the basis of abolished 1st and 2nd Tashkent State Medical Institutes through the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan I.A.Karimov №UP – 3629 as of 19 July 2005.
Tashkent Medical Academy is a leading medical university in the Republic of Uzbekistan for training in the field of medicine. Since 2005, we are preparing specialists of the most humane profession in the world. During the years of fruitful Academy has become one of the leading medical schools in the Republic of Uzbekistan, with certainty declare itself on the international medical arena and boldly compete with more established universities.
In the structure of the Academy 6 faculties: treatment, medical-pedagogical, medical-prophylactic, medical-biological and nursing higher education.
Tashkent Medical Academy – a higher educational institution of the modern type of high scientific and pedagogical potential, a wide range of educational communication, extensive network of international contacts, a high level of social vocation training. In recent years, multiplies the best traditions of the academy, open new avenues of education undergraduate and master’s degree, protected thesis, improving the material and technical base.
BUKHARA ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE
Bukhara engineering-technical institute of high technologies has been transformed by the decision number 214 of the Cabinet of Republic Uzbekistan from July, 25th, 2011, on basis of Bukhara technological institute food and light industry with a aim of further perfection of preparation experts meeting modern requirements of market economy, and also strengthening of personnel resource base in the field of high technologies of industrial and processing branches of Republic.
There are 4 faculties at the institute:
Light and textile industry;
Technique and technology of oil and gas;
Automation of technological processes;
Food technology.
Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute was created by the Decision of the President of Republic of Uzbekistan from April, 15th, 2013 behind number of PD-1954 on the basis of Bukhara engineering technical institute of high technologies, with a view of the further perfection of education of the experts meeting modern cases of market economy, and also strengthening of personnel resource base in the field of high technologies of industrial and processing branches of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
18 departments are engaged in preparation of highly skilled specialists in 8 fields of study of a bachelor degree and in 6 fields of study of master degree.
Total number of students is 5429, 5270 of which are bachelors and 159 are masters. Teaching staff consists of 338 teachers-professors. Due to good scientific potential of the institute, BETI provides the region with highly qualified specialists in the field of engineer-technologists.
KING MONGKUT’S INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY LADKRABANG
The establishment of the Nondhaburi Telecommunication Training Center on August 24, 1960 with academic cooperation from the Government of Japan marked the origination of KMITL. The training center became the Nodhaburi Institute of Telecommunications under the Columbo Plan, later in 1964.
As specified by the 1971 King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Act, KMITL was originated by an amalgamation of three technical colleges: Nondhaburi Institute of Telecommunications, North Bangkok Technical College and Thonburi Technical College. In the same year, the Nondhaburi Institute of Telecommunications, or known as King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology at Nondhaburi Campus, was relocated to the district of Ladkrabang in Bangkok. The new campus was called »Chao Khun Taharn Ladkrabang Campus». The Nondhaburi Institute of Telecommunications became the Faculty of Engineering in 1972. In the same year, the College of Design and Construction located at the Bangplad district was transformed into the Faculty of Architecture affiliated with KMITL.
TBILISI MEDICAL ACADEMY
Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA) is one of the first private medical schools in Georgia with almost 25 years of experience behind its back. TMA is staffed with highly qualified academic staff and is providing medical education in accordance with international regulations and recommendations.
Study Process at Tbilisi Medical Academy is compatible with international standards. The academic faculty is represented by team of experienced professors, who have been trained in USA and Western European Countries. The Academic Process, based on ECTS system, allows students to gain international academic recognition.
Tbilisi Medical Academy offers 6 year MD program both in Georgian and English. So far, TMA has around 500 undergraduate students, including around 170 international students, mainly from USA, UK, India, Iraq, Nigeria, Bhutan, Egypt etc.

UNIVERSITY OF ISFAHAN
A group of physicians from Isfahan succeeded in establishing a high school of medicine with their efforts and perseverance. They agreed to build a high school of higher education that was founded today at Isfahan University.
By agreeing to establish a high school in 1325 and increasing the number of applicants participating in this school, the land of a thousand jerib to the nearby Mount Sufa was provided for the great majesty of the University of Isfahan.
After the establishment and transfer of the high school of medicine to the 1000-jerib area, the medical faculty was established along with the same school on November 7, 1329. In 1335, another step towards the excellence of the University of Isfahan was taken, which was the founding of a college of pharmacy along with medicine. After the establishment of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the year 1337, the Faculty of Literature with the establishment of two disciplines of Persian and English language and literature in the palace of Prince Ibrahim, expanded fields of French language and literature (1338), Armenian language and literature (1339), Arabic language and literature (1331), History and Geography (1345), Social Sciences Department (1348), and transferring this faculty from Shahzad Abraham’s palace to the collections of 1,000 jeribs in Isfahan University in 1348.
August 1343 reminded us of the memory of the founding of the faculties of science and education and psychology in the endeavor of the continuous efforts of professors like Dr. Farooqi. At the end of 1347, with the formation of the University of Isfahan, the high school of Cyrus the Great was joined to this university, and the same year, the School of Administrative Sciences and Economics was founded at the University. In 1365, after three decades, the faculties of medical sciences separated from the University of Isfahan and selected a separate path.
UNIVERSITY OF TABRIZ
The University of Tabriz, the second oldest university of country started its activities in 1947 with two faculties of Literature and Medicine. It is now one of the 10 top universities in Iran.
Currently, the University of Tabriz enjoying 21 faculties, 10 Research Centers, several Centers of Excellence, Technology Units, International Campuses and its branches, is one of the greatest educational and research centers in Iran.
TARBIAT MODARES UNIVERSITY
Tarbiat Modares University, which was founded after the [glorious] Islamic Revolution in Iran, as a leading University in respect of education, research, production and promotion of advantageous knowledge, extending the boundaries of knowledge and technology, and it is determined, as a scientific, Islamic identity and revolutionary leader, to achieve the following goals on the basis of the objectives set out in the University’s Statutes and its strategic plan:

FUDAN UNIVERSITY
Fudan University was established in 1905 as Fudan Public School. It was the first institution of higher education to be founded by a Chinese person, renowned modern educator Ma Xiangbo. The school’s name was chosen from the “Biography of Yuxia” in the Classic of History (《尚书大传 虞夏传》), where the two characters fù复 (“return”) and dàn旦 (“dawn”) are found in the famous lines “Brilliant are the sunshine and moonlight, again the morning glory after the night,” signifying continuous self-renewal, and expressing the hope that China could become a country with a strong higher education system run by Chinese intellectuals. In 1917 the name was changed from Fudan Public School to Fudan Private School; in 1937 after the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, the school moved to Beipei in Chongqing, and in 1941 it became state-run; in 1946 it moved back to its original location in Jiangwan, Shanghai. After the nationwide restructuring of institutions of higher education in 1952, Fudan University became a comprehensive university of arts and sciences; in 1959 it became one of the first National Key Universities along with Shanghai First Medical College (later known as Shanghai Medical University).
Shanghai Medical University was founded in 1927. It was the first medical school to be founded by a Chinese person. It was originally named Fourth Sun Yat-sen University Medical College.
Fudan University was merged with Shanghai Medical University in 2000, forming a new, stronger Fudan University with a broader set of disciplines: medicine, sciences, and arts. As one of the first participants in the 211 and 985 Projects, Fudan has developed into a comprehensive research university, with Departments of Philosophy, Economics, Law, Education, Literature, History, Science, Engineering, Medicine, and Management.
Fudan is home to 14,100 undergraduates and associate degree candidates, 14,800 graduates including 3000 foreign degree candidates, 2,700 staff and 3,100 full-time teaching faculty members. Fudan hosts 46 members of Chinese Academy of Science and members of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 99 Chair Professors of Chang Jiang Scholars Program, and 30 National Key Basic Research Program of China (also named “973 Program”) PIs. There are 28 schools and independent departments with 70 bachelor degree programs, 35 doctoral degree programs of Level I academic disciplines, 154 doctoral degree programs, 224 master degree programs, and 29 post-doctoral programs. There are 11 Level I national key academic disciplines and 19 Level II national key academic disciplines. Fudan hosts around 300 research institutes including 5 national key labs, 38 ministerial or provincial key labs and engineering centers, 5 “Project 985” Science and Technology Innovation Platforms and 7 “Project 985” Arts and Social Sciences Innovation Bases.
The campus is laid out as a main area consisting of the Handan Street Campus and Jiangwan New Campus areas, along with two side campuses, Fenglin Campus and Zhangjiang Campus, covering a total area of 2.4432 square kilometers. The total area of all school buildings is 1.4923 square kilometers. Eleven hospitals are also affiliated with the school, including Zhongshan Hospital and Huashan Hospital, with a total of 15,000 doctors, nurses, and personnel.
Fudan University celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2005. Chinese president Hu Jintao sent a letter of congratulations, expressing his hopes that the school will continue its tradition of excellence while developing and innovating into the future, building itself into a world-class comprehensive university, fostering development of persons of talent, ability, and integrity, and putting forth a new, even greater contribution towards building a prosperous society and realizing the Chinese people’s great revival.
Over the past hundred years, the school has made outstanding contributions to the country by developing talent, innovating in science and technology, carrying forward civilization, and serving society. Students and teachers of Fudan always keep in mind the school motto “Rich in knowledge and tenacious of purposes, inquiring with earnestness and reflecting with self-practice,” maintain the school spirit of “civilized, healthy, united, rousing,” practice the school traditions of being “hard working, rigorous, result-oriented, and innovative,” and develop the Fudan spirit of “patriotic service, academic independence, a diversity of approaches, and pursuit of excellence.” They make great contributions to the liberation and development of the people, the construction and development of the nation, and the civilization and progress of society.
TBILISI STATE ACADEMY OF ART
Misión
Los objetivos de la Academia de Artes se basan en las prioridades de la misión:
• Implementar programas educativos de acuerdo con estándares internacionales en todas las etapas de la enseñanza;
• Realizar estudios científicos de alta importancia académica y práctica en el campo de las humanidades (historia del arte y teoría, culturología), arquitectura, arte y restauración / conservación;
• Programas educativos de alta calidad para preparar especialistas con calificaciones relevantes;
Las tareas son para llevar a cabo estos objetivos:
• Expansión y profundización de la cooperación con las instituciones de educación superior de Europa y el perfil artístico estadounidense;
• Desarrollo de programas de intercambio internacional para el intercambio mutuo de potencial científico y creativo.
• Mayor desarrollo de la base material de cada sector de las actividades educativas de la TSU con equipos y tecnologías modernos;
• Completar la interoperabilidad con el espacio europeo unificado de educación superior mediante el aumento de la calidad de los programas educativos.
Sobre la misión se ha desarrollado y el proyecto fue asignado al Consejo Académico de las Artes, que decidió redactar para la discusión pública de las Artes publicados en el sitio web, fue enviado a la Facultad de Letras y el estudiante tvitmmartvelobas.tssa Consejo Académico el 27 de mayo de 2010, # 005 de protocolo. Uno de los proyectos de la misión fue aprobado por el Consejo Académico de las Artes (24 de junio de 2010, protocolo # 006) y las reuniones del Consejo de Representante (25 de junio de 2010, el protocolo # 06).
