1. Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) envisions a world at peace, where non-violent means are used to resolve conflicts beginning with individuals, societies, governments, and extending to the community of world leaders in the context of international cooperation.

2. We envision a world where those in government and in positions of authority exercise their duties responsibly with compassion to defend and protect the people they serve, especially the poor, elderly, destitute, needy women and children.

3. We believe that education is the key to fulfilling this vision; as people are well-educated, they are empowered to participate and contribute more fully in the life of society. Education is the foundation of individual’s character building. Only education could provide professional skills and develop mental, intellectual, spiritual and wisdom, which will in turn generate genuine peace and sustainable progress for a prosperous nation.

It is in the context of this vision that the Royal Government of Cambodia accorded the highest priority to education and health care sectors through the implementation of its Rectangular Strategies in the last two mandates.

To this end, PUC strives to deliver quality education that is attainable by, and responsive to the needs of the people of Cambodia and that of the global community. We place special emphasis on quality research based education, studies of peace, conflict resolution, development, moral and ethical conducts as well as social responsibility.

The Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) is Cambodia’s oldest and one of the largest public universities. It hosts more than 12,000 scholarship and full-fee paying students, across a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It is unique in Cambodia for offering specialist degrees in fields including the sciences, humanities and social sciences, as well as professional degrees in fields such as information technology, electronics, psychology, social work, and tourism. RUPP also provides Cambodia’s foremost degree-level language programs through the Institute of Foreign Languages. Due to its many achievements, RUPP has full membership of the ASEAN University Network (AUN).

RUPP has over 450 full-time staff. All of its 335 academic staff members hold tertiary qualifications, including 15 PhDs and 280 Masters degrees. They are supported by over 120 administrative and maintenance staff. In addition, the university maintains links with Cambodian and international NGOs, local and international universities and government ministries. As a result, various international and non-government organizations and government offices regularly contribute adjunct faculty members to help expand RUPP’s capacity.

RUPP is located on three spacious campuses. The main campus lies roughly five kilometers from the center of Phnom Penh. Adjoining the main campus is the Institute of Foreign Languages, which boasts peaceful landscaping features alongside its modern architecture. Roughly one kilometer further from town lies RUPP Campus II, in which the departments of History, Sociology and Philosophy reside.

In order to achieve the Mission laid out in the preceding statements, the ten goals of the University are as follows:

Enhance teaching staff and middle-level administrative staff to hold at least master’s degrees with both English and ICT competence;

Be an established center for high-quality research and publications;

Increase the number of international students in all types of courses;

Enhance student and faculty exchange with universities in the ASEAN University Network (AUN) and other partner universities, including services provided to development partners and civil society organizations;

Provide free information technology (IT) support and internet access to all students and staff;

Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) is a Cambodian Higher Education Institution which was founded in 1964 and supported by cooperation between the Cambodia and the former Soviet Union. More than 10000 executive members have been graduated from ITC. They are currently working intensely on the economic and social infrastructure development of Cambodia.

n the current context of globalization and fast transformations of new technologies ITC’s main concerns are to play an efficient role in the Cambodian society and to be at the cutting edge of development to improve our educational system.

Our goal is to provide students with a high quality education in the fields of engineering sciences and technologies. Students are provided with technical know-how and skills of analysis which allow integration and evolution in the labor market. To achieve this, the academic and international scientific research requires development.

Besides our academic activities, ITC contributes to maintain sustainable development and decrease the inequalities within our society through its internal functioning and opening-up to foreign countries and the way their students get admitted.

The current development of ITC owes a lot to the support of the national community and the great efforts made by staffs and students from generation to generation.

In 1993, Cambodian and French governments agreed to renovate ITC with a view to improve performance of the administration and financial services along with the educational system of the institution and the human resources.

Nowadays, ITC is at the crossroads in South Eastern Asia region where several partners meet:
