Objectives The University has the following objectives: • To provide modern educational and research environments that will enable students and researchers to face current challenges and to focus on knowledge as a principle driving force for development. • To reach international levels in standards, contents and practices while maintaining local values and culture. • To keep up with the development and the new innovations that occur in the different fields of knowledge as well as to take the initiatives in innovation and creativity. • To satisfy the increasing demand for excellence in higher education and to ensure the latest quality technology in all its outputs. • To create an environment in whichthe university lecturers will be able to perform their duties. • To comply with the international staff / student ratio. • To promote libraries, laboratories and other teaching facilities to the latest technical standards and maintain their position as a place for interaction between the different components of the university. • To consolidate the double role of the University as a leading national university and as a ‘mother’ for the Sudanese universities. • To attain a working environment thatenable employees to perform their duties with responsibility, disciplinary actions, transparency and time management. • To employ information and communication technology to improve University performance with respect to education, research, capacity building, and skills polishing. • To establish a clear research strategy that would define research priorities and channel research activities to serve national purposes, while focusing on applied and advanced educational research to serve the society.
Vision The University vision is to participate, through its role in the field of higher education and scientific research, in the creation of a unified, developed and advanced Sudanese Nation. The University aspires to be independent both academically and financially, elevated in the different aspects of knowledge and to link the programs and research it offers with the requirements of permanent development in Sudan. While it maintains its position as a leading national institution, it also aspires to occupy a leading international position.

UNIVERSITY OVERVIEW Established in 1999, Université de Kara (University of Kara) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large town of Kara (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche, Togo (Ministry of Higher Education and Research, Togo), Université de Kara (UK) is a coeducational higher education institution. Université de Kara (UK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
The University of Gabes, was created on August 4, 2003, by Decree No. 1662 to contribute to the development of teaching and scientific research in the South-East District (Gabes Governorate, Medenine Governorate, Tataouine Governorate, Kebili Governorate).
The University of Jendouba was created by the decree number 1662-2003 of August 4, 2003 concretizing the policy of the state in its will to decentralize the knowledge and the technology and to promote the vital role of the university in the region North West with four governorates (Jendouba, Beja, Kef and Siliana).
Since its inception, the University of Jendouba has experienced significant development both in terms of the number of institutions created and the number of students, teachers and administrative staff.
It also offers a wide range of training: languages and humanities, arts and crafts, music and theater, legal sciences, economics, management, agriculture, biotechnology, computer science, sports and physical education.
The University of Jendouba has 13 university institutions (1 faculty, 2 schools and 10 institutes) of which 5 are co-supervised: 3 with the Ministry of Agriculture, 1 with the Ministry of Health and 1 with the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
Founded 1964 by Act of Parliament and financially supported by the State. Acquired present status 2005 following merger of the Port Elizabeth Technikon, the University of Port Elizabeth and the Port Elizabeth campus of Vista University.

The University of Monastir’s proud heritage of academic excellence dates back to its founding in 2004 (Decree n° 2102 of 2004). Its foundation was part of the reform that the Tunisian university educational system perceived. Its creation aims at developing the service quality under decentralization, by improving the efficiency as part of a new approach that takes into account the scientific, academic and social considerations.
Over the years, The University of Monastir grew and prospered, becoming one of main components of the university landscape in Tunisia
Today, the University of Monastir is serving around 16.000 students annually in 16 institutions distributed among the governorates of Monastir and Mahdia. All of them are well rooted and contribute generously in the innovation of modern Tunisia proving that the University Monastir is certainly a valuable asset playing an important role to avail the overall knowledge of the society .
Created by the law n ° 86-80 of August 9th, 1986, the university of Monastir took its new name under the decree n ° 91-1999 of December 31st, 1991 to become the University of the Center ensuring the scientific and pedagogical supervision settlements in the governorates of Sousse, Monastir, Kairouan and Mahdia. For the 1987/88 academic year, just over 6,000 students were enrolled and spread across 13 institutions
The University of the Center has seen its numbers grow considerably from year to year, bringing together 45,000 students in 2000-2001 and nearly 60,000 in 30 institutions. On the occasion of the celebration of the Knowledge Day (16 July 2004), the University of the Center is divided into 3 and received a new name "University of Sousse", under Decree No. 2115-2004 of 02 September 2004.
The University of Sousse offers a range of academic and professional training in the Basic, Legal, Economic and Management Sciences, Technical, Agronomic, Medical, Paramedical, Arts and Crafts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
The University has seven campuses as well as a number of other sites of operation, such as the Pretoria Academic Hospital. Central administration is located at the Hatfield Campus.
The University of Pretoria offers more than 1 800 academic programmes in two of the official languages, namely Afrikaans and English. (Some programmes and modules are offered only in English.)
In 1996, the University of Pretoria became the university with the highest research output in South Africa and we have maintained this status.

The mission of the university is the graduate and post-graduate education as well as the research of which the organization and management types are called to evolve along with the reformation of the Algerian university. Its ambition is to ensure a best education in accordance with international standards which doesn’t ignore humanities and how to enhance the student involvement in social issues.
Created on September 4, 2004, the University of Gafsa provides scientific and pedagogical supervision over schools in the governorates of Gafsa and Tozeur.
For the 2015-2016 academic year a little over 8750 students are enrolled and spread over 10 institutions. With 42 licenses and 22 masters, the University of Gafsa offers a range of academic and professional training in the basic, economic and management sciences, technical, sports, arts and crafts, languages and humanities. The University of Gafsa has 04 research units and 48 university cooperation agreements.
